We are much more than just an egg and dairy wholesaler, we’re part of the greater Central Ohio community and do our best to lead in this area. Biblically, we are cautioned not to blow our own horn (Matthew 6:2) so we supply this information to those reading with that in mind.

Our company motto is “The customer is number two, the employee is number one”. We have felt for three generations that if we hire the best and treat them right, they will take care of our customers. So, it all begins with our wonderful staff; they are number one to us. We are constantly looking for ways to help them maximize their earnings through an exhaustive list of incentives and profit-sharing programs.

We are engaged with our neighbors here in Urbancrest specifically and Grove City/Columbus in general through a wide area of support. We have green initiatives in our warehouse operations and participate in many community events and event sponsorships. We are also actively involved in trade associations to support our local industries and economy. We naturally attempt to source as many of our products locally and target purchases from other family businesses wherever possible.

Giving back is very important to the Happy Chicken and Merry Milk Maid culture. We make weekly egg and milk donations to local soup kitchens, pantries and food banks. We donate our time to a number of local charities, serve on various advisory councils and church and school counsels. We have a long-term commitment to support an inner-city missionary in Homestead, FL (just outside of Miami).
