Chuck started his food service career in 1979 as a golf course dishwasher/cook, but quickly moved on to distribution centers for larger companies. Over the next twelve years, he worked for regional and national distributors before finally arriving at Happy Chicken. It was a much smaller company for him at the time – only five trucks! – but it was family owned with good growth potential. In his words, “It was a good match!” Chuck has since worked in almost every department of the company and his main focus now is training new drivers.
